What do you do?

I make things work. Ever since I was a little kid, I watched television commercials and saw how companies would present their products and how it was supposed to work, but, in reality, it never did. That became my focus! MAKE IT WORK. I’ve been successful in assisting companies to improve their processes in food distribution, textile industry, telecom industry, securities industry, auto parts industry, and hospitality industry.

That sounds like a lot of industries!

Making things work is a passion, not just a skill. It requires collection of a lot of floating situations to build something successful, it almost never matters what the client is selling or marketing. Human nature is human nature. I call it “connecting the dots” and the dots consist of sales, marketing, accounting and operations points.

What is the point of the novel approach to your site?

I thoroughly enjoy helping others achieve their potential. I’m not going to sell or market my clients’ products or services BUT I’ll be an integral part of why they can do it better and more successfully if they let me. All of my clients originated from word of mouth, I never advertised or even had a website. It was impossible for me to put what I’ve done into a traditional format. When I met the person who helped me develop this presentation, I knew it would really describe what I have and continue to do for those willing to trust my unique approach.

What is the biggest generic issue you wrestle with today?

I remember watching black and white TV and dialing a phone with my fingers in a hole for each number. My grandparents thought the world was spinning out of control! Fast forward decades later. There I was sitting at a motor vehicle office with hundreds of people waiting for their turn and not a single problem. Why was that? Simple – every person had a phone to keep them busy, not like the old days. My grandparents would squawk at today’s society but there they were, all 300 people keeping themselves occupied. When I was a kid, tempers would flare, and people would be getting aggravated. Everything changes quickly, some for the better – even Snoop Dog is now mainstream!My belief is the lack of communication skills today for so many presents the greatest challenge to the future of humanity. In my childhood, it was normal to talk with others on the phone. Today, people hate talking. Not to be able to communicate except through text, social media or email is extremely dangerous! How does one know if you’re being sarcastic (fooling around) in a text or email. Is there a standard font like there is for the “capital letter rule”? For those who don’t know, that one, those who send out complete capitalized texts or emails are yelling. When I am being funny or coy, I immediately insert emoticons to make it clear. However, that doesn’t really answer all the issues. Bottom line, bad communications is prevalent in many organizations and the worst part is, those who don’t know they are communicating terribly are the ones who defend their communication methods/skills.If you would like to know how I can assist with reducing the gaps of communication in your organization, send me a message.
